Can I get some information about your products?

Yes, you can download the spec sheets on the Big and Little Chairs as well as the Big and Little Rockers by using these links. To protect the retailers, master carton and pricing information can only be given out after a credit application has been supplied to us and an account has been established.

So there's books or stories that go along with this?

Yes, there is actually a series of stories called The Chronicles of the Blue Moon that center around the Freddy character created by S.E. Blakeslee.

Can you tell me about the story?

The storyline is truly magical but we can't really reveal anything about it beyond that. We can say that everyone (adults and children alike) who has had the chance to preview the original manuscript has fallen in love with the story. But you'll just have to wait until its release in Fall 2006. But just imagine the reaction of any child who receives one of these special chairs and then learns the story that his or her chair is part of.

Are the books available to retailers as well?

Yes, they will be as soon as the first story, Once Upon A Blue Moon, is released in Fall 2006. Also, should you become a retailer, it's important to note that Mr. Blakeslee will be starting a book tour and will be available to do personal appearances and readings to help promote the sale of the book, The Original Freddy® and other merchandise associated with the world of Freddy during that time. In the event that the book tour comes near our select retailer's locations, we will do our best to schedule a special appearance at the store. Final tour dates are not yet set, so join the Freddy family of retailers now and we'll keep you updated.

Can you tell me more about the chair itself?

Quite honestly, if there were no chair, then there would be no book series. Mr. Blakeslee's initial inspiration for the entire series came about from watching his children play in The Original, Original Freddy which was built by John Barkand, a master carpenter and close friend of the author.

Kids absolutely love the chair and interact with it much like any other toy. They turn it over. They hide in it. They talk to it. It's extremely comfortable. In fact, it conforms to almost anyone's posture because of the unique sling design. That's why so many kids love to sit in it while they watch TV or play video games. It molds to their body perfectly. It's actually comfortable and safe for adults too. It can hold over 300lbs. in the properly seated position.

There are also a number of accessories that will be released in the future that will be also be available for sale with the chair. Lots of items that make the chair unique to individual children so that no Freddy is quite like another.

Freddy is very unique.

Do you have any plans to release any other chairs or rockers based on the sling and side panel design?

We own design patents and trademarks on The Original Freddy® rockers and chairs. We also have utility patents pending on the sling removal and application process. We have designed other models that we have loosely named Freddy's Friends as well as some teen and adult size chairs that don't fit within the Freddy brand, but we aren't planning on releasing any of these additional chairs until after the launch of The Original Freddy® in 2006.

What about point-of-sale support?

Point-of-sale is very important to us. We plan to offer point-of-sale solutions to all of our retailers in order to promote the Freddy world. In fact, we have a prototype of a point of sale display we're finalizing production pricing on right now and we will be posting it to the dealer's area shortly.

If you visited us at the ABC Kids Expo in Las Vegas, you would have seen the configuration. The system includes a standing post and pan sign with arm attachments for interchangeable posters mounted to a blue spot with one or two larger floor spots to serve as stands for the chairs themselves. It's a very flexible system designed to double as the method of holding a variety of accessories as they are released. The display will be available for purchase. It will also be supplied as part of a package to dealers who commit to a certain volume and have the space to accommodate it. We are also supplying point-of-sales posters and wall mounted systems for more space-effective solutions to smaller retailers that don't have the footprint available. Updates to the POS materials will be sent out as they become available.

What about Co-op?

We will be offering cooperative advertising opportunities to our retailers. For more information on our program, please fill out an application to become a dealer and we will send you information about our co-op program as part of our Retailer Kit.

What about Public Relations opportunities?

Freddy & Friends LLC has engaged Productivity PR (Los Angeles, CA) as its PR agency of record to handle its 2006 launch. As part of that effort, Productivity PR will be coordinating our efforts with local and regional media outlets in the areas where our retail partners reside. As an Authorized Retailer, we will gather information from you on all media outlets in your area and begin a local PR campaign from there.

So how do I become a dealer / How can I get The Original Freddy® for my store?

First-time orders can be placed by credit card. Then just fill out our credit application to apply for terms. We also need a copy of your reseller's certificate. When you qualify, we'll send you our retailer kit that includes a login and password to our dealer site that will allow you to place your future wholesale orders online. Note: At this time, we are not making The Original Freddy® available to online retailers.

I'd like to place an order. Can I do that over the phone?

Sure, you just need to fill out our credit application, which can be downloaded from our website. If you've filled out the credit application, we will need a copy of that application and your resellers certificate faxed or mailed to us prior to placing your order over the phone.

What are your terms?

First-time customers and orders less than $1000.00 must pay in full by credit card or certified check. Net 30 terms are available beyond that upon approval of the credit application which is available for download on our website. All applications are processed through our financial institution and credit authorization is awarded based on their recommendation. However, in the event that credit cannot be extended, orders can still be fulfilled by credit card or certified check. Overdue accounts are assessed a 1.5% finance charge monthly.

How long does the credit approval process take?

According to our financial institution, just three standard business days from time of receipt.

After I place my order, how soon will the product ship out/how soon will it arrive?

We have inventory and can ship daily.
